We launched Revolva in October 2011 when we opened our store in Swindon town centre, we wanted to bring a unique mix of modern & vintage clothing for those searching for an independent look.
Alongside our town centre boutique we launched our ASOS Marketplace boutique Revolva where we have a large number of new and vintage items, we have well over 1000 positive reviews as a testament to our high standards of product detail and customer care on this site alone, we also have an eBay outlet where you can find more great items from our collection Ebay Store
It soon became apparent that the online side of things was taking all of our time, and we decided to close our Swindon store and focus fully on the online.
As part of our ethos we want to give every customer the best possible experience, just because we sell vintage clothing does not mean that our pre-loved items are sent out with that vintage aroma, unchecked, not here, why?
Well, we do not know anyone that would like to receive a dirty smelly crumpled item of clothing item in the post, I know we wouldn’t, so we take out time to make sure the product you receive is fresh, clean and of the highest possible quality.
Here is what we do:
First we wash EVERY item as soon as they arrive at our warehouse.
It then goes through a thorough inspection process
Any defects are recorded and tagged
When we list the item any defects are photo’d and written in the description so you know before buying
We make the price depending on the grade
As you can imagine this is a long and time consuming process, but for us there is no other way, no shortcut to achieve the highest standard possible, we care about our products, our reputation and most of all our customers.
The very nature of vintage clothing means they will have been around for a while (over 20 years) and often will have small defects like a pull or snag, maybe a small mark, this is not a problem for most vintage clothing lovers, but you would rather KNOW about this before you buy right? And to us this is THE most important part of all, we feel that good customer service is about getting this part right in the first place.
